Job Brief:

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on VP of Strategy to lead our organization’s financial and marketing initiatives. As a key member of the senior management team, you will report directly to the COO and collaborate closely with the Founder/President. This role requires an effective leader with a proven track record in managing P&L and driving growth through successful marketing strategies. The primary goal of the VP of Strategy position is to ensure the business operates efficiently to drive extensive and sustainable growth.


Responsibilities:

          Finance

  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports that reflect the organization’s overall performance.

  • Analyze financial health, identify trends, and uncover growth opportunities, providing critical insights for strategic decision-making.

  • Establish and maintain robust financial controls to protect company assets and ensure compliance with regulations.

  • Oversee budgeting processes, track performance against financial targets, and make necessary adjustments to optimize resource allocation.


         Marketing    

  • Drive profitable growth specifically through the company’s own website by developing and implementing innovative marketing strategies that prioritize organic growth.

  • Enhance visibility and engagement without relying heavily on paid traffic.

  • Shape a strong brand identity on the website, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and resonance with the target audience.

  • Foster customer loyalty to contribute to sustainable, long-term business success


    Analytics

  • Lead efforts to provide valuable insights that support decision-making across all functional areas of the business.

  • Drive the automation of reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

  • Oversee the development of advanced analytical models that facilitate decision support.

  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making, ensuring insights are effectively utilized across departments.

  • Empower teams to leverage analytics as a key driver of business performance.


Skills

  • Strong understanding of financial principles, P&L management, and budgeting processes, with a focus on maximizing efficiency with limited resources.

  • Ability to develop and execute long-term strategies that drive growth and profitability, while adapting to a dynamic environment.

  • Knowledge of digital marketing strategies, particularly in driving organic growth through web channels, and a hands-on approach to implementing initiatives.

  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, with the capability to build decision-support models and make informed decisions under resource constraints.

  • Proven track record of leading and motivating teams to achieve high performance, fostering a collaborative and agile work culture.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey insights and strategies effectively, adapting messaging to diverse stakeholders.
