Summary:
Be the point person for finding and reaching out to new brand partners and establishing connection with the decision makers to create a sales funnel of potential brands that can significantly contribute to the sales revenue and service level goals of the company.
Responsibilities:
Actively sourcing new vendors and brands through cold-calling and emailing.
Identify decision makers within targeted leads to fix appointments.
Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospective brands/vendors
Answering potential vendor questions and follow-up call questions
Team-up with business development team to build sales pipeline and close deals
Ensure follow-up by passing leads to business development team, with calls-to-action, dates, appointments, complete profile information, sources, etc.
Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls/emails and convert into sales.
Collaborate with business development team to determine necessary strategic sales approaches
Appropriately communicate brand identity and corporate position.
